I love home designs that incorporate delicate accents, whimsical feelings, and earth tones. I strive to bring elements of nature into my city apartment.
My latest favorite way to decorate is with wild flowers! I discovered that wild plants last much longer than store bought flowers and the colors really brighten up any space.
The best ways to gather wild flowers are to ask a friend or family members for permission to explore their property or to plant your own favorite varieties! For the best bouquet, choose a mixture of colors, textures, and heights.
Here are some of my favorite plants to use in home-made bouquets:
Wild onions: they have a beautiful purple flower and are quite durable
Nasturtiums: they are easy-to-grow and have bright edible flowers that taste great on salads
